Cap the bottle and shake. The rice acts as a gentle abrasive. Use newspaper of a soft absorbent cloth to wipe dry.
Get odors out of plastic containers by rinsing them with vinegar and water. For stubborn odors put the lid on the container and allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before rinsing it out.
